Evil Woman (Remix ft. ELO)

Since we’re in the middle of the month I would hate to call this the “June” Running Playlist. So… let’s forget about time for a moment and just sitback and enjoy the music. This playlist I greatly attribute to a lot of musical acts I’ve recently come across through various people, sites and music blogs.

I’d have to say this playlist would be great for runs through the neighborhood and suburban parks. Be warned, it’s sort of a hodge podge.

This is no joke… April’s running playlist: April’s Fool is all about straight up pop and hip hop, with a twist – that it’s all f**king catchy AND awesome. Enjoy… and don’t forget to dance.

When I heard about Mark Linkous (front man and solo man from Sparklehorse) committing suicide this past weekend I was nothing short of devastated. His music pulled out the darkest corners of my soul so I thought it fitting to add one of my favorite covers he did to my LA Marathon playlist. He performed this track live with Thom Yorke of Radiohead at Lollapalooza.
