LA Marathon: KABC Radio Interview
I am truly honored and humbled that TALK RADIO 790 AM KABC approached me to be one of their seven featured runners for their live broadcast coverage of the LA Marathon. The broadcast will be covering the history of the LA Marathon, documenting the runners and following the race with updates. During the live broadcast KABC will be checking in on where I am on the course and reporting back. Spoiler: it will not be a sub 4 hour time 
Here’s a snippet of the segment which will be airing on KABC 790 AM sometime between 7:07am and 7:34am on race day (May 25th, 2009).
The other featured runners come with diverse backgrounds and stories: an 80 year old gentleman who started running LAM back in the 80s, an elite ultra runner from Kenya, etc.
Still scared out of my mind… but I’m excited and truly appreciative of the whole experience. Having been born and raised in the City of Angels I am proud that this will be my first (definitely not my last) marathon.
