Awesome List!!!
Here are some of Mine…
1) Is it me….I Love the smell of New Shoes out of the Box!!!
2) Getting to travel to a city you have never been before…..for a race!!!
3) Going to an Expo of said race and seeing all the gear you could buy/wear!!

Love your list… esp the soreness one… only athletes understand. I also love the look on non-runner’s faces when the following conversation ensues:
“hey, so you’re running a marathon?”
“yep”
“so, like, how many miles is that?”
“26.2″
